Does it cost anything to book a photographer here?
No. The platform is free for clients — no booking fees, no service charges. You pay the photographer directly, at their listed rate.
How is this different from The Knot or Thumbtack?
The Knot is a wedding directory where photographers pay $300–$1,200/month for placement — costs that find their way into your quote. Thumbtack charges photographers per quote they send, so they pad responses to cover lead fees. We don’t do either. Photographers pay one flat monthly subscription — never per-lead or per-quote — so quotes reflect their real pricing.
What if I need a non-wedding photographer?
That’s exactly the case where the big platforms fail you. We cover 14+ specialties — family, real estate, headshot, event, product, maternity, sports, and more — all with the same filtering and portfolio surface.
How do I know the photographer is legit?
Every photographer has a public portfolio you can browse in full, and any reviews come only from clients who actually hired them through the platform. You can message them and see their work before committing.
How does posting a job work?
Tell us what you need — type of shoot, date, budget, location — and photographers in your area can bid with their own proposals. You compare, message, and pick. No platform fees on either side.
